Description

Our team designs and builds ML solutions to enhance the software development experience at Apple and within the Apple developer ecosystem. We are a team of applied scientists, infrastructure engineers, and machine learning engineers who are immersed in the rapidly advancing field of ML, and Natural Language Processing in particular. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and applying novel techniques to model training and supporting tasks like data generation, evaluation infrastructure, and inference. You will also be involved in directly integrating ML into products, working closely with the extended team to collect and apply feedback. You will need to rely on your creativity and problem solving to develop scalable, maintainable, and cost-effective solutions. You will be successful and feel fulfilled in our team if you enjoy tackling challenging problems, have a strong sense of shared ownership, and thrive in a collaborative team setting.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with applied machine learning.

  • Proven experience in software engineering, data engineering, or similar.

  • MS in Computer Science or related experience

Key Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of applied Natural Language Processing.

  • Experience with reinforcement learning

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
