Description

APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Design and execute analytic projects for bundles of Apple 1st party subscription services including creation of SQL code to analyze acquisition, retention, and churn for such services. Dive deep into large-scale data to uncover trends and identify key insights that will inform business strategy. Craft how best to monitor, measure and understand business performance and build out associated Keynote narratives, datasets, and dashboards. Work closely across multiple teams including business, marketing, finance and executive teams to generate regular presentations for C-level to update on business performance. Partner with other Apple organizations on data gathering, data governance, evangelizing key performance indicators and democratizing data ensuring continuity of data availability for leadership updates on business performance, to inform strategic decision making. Establish requirements and implement data models in SQL and HDFS environments using Hive, Presto, and other big data tools to support analytic and reporting work including business updates on subscription performance to leadership. Develop analytic ETL cron jobs and tune query performance to minimize turnaround time for downstream data extraction to support analytics deliverables, keeping leadership informed of subscriptions growth and performance. Leverage sophisticated statistical techniques such as experimental A/B testing, attribution analysis, and consumer/service segmentation that optimizes on key business drivers to understand causal impacts of changes to subscriptions business. Build and maintain power tool dashboards in Tableau to expand and enhance self-service portfolio providing business stakeholders tools needed to evaluate subscriptions health and aid in strategic decision making. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 - $248,700/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

  • 3 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:

  • Using SQL to retrieve and summarize data needed to analyze subscriptions business performance.

  • Using R to identify causal relationships between subscriptions and customer attributes, informing business strategy.

  • Building Dashboarding Tools such as Tableau to provide business stakeholders with tools needed to evaluate subscriptions health and aid in strategic decision making.

  • Performing ETL and program scheduling such as cron to minimize turnaround time for downstream data extraction to support analytics deliverables keeping leadership informed of subscriptions growth and performance.

  • Performing Machine learning modeling to identify causal relationships between subscriptions and customer attributes, informing business strategy.

  • Creating presentations to translate results from data into analytics objectives to support business goals.

  • Developing analytic projects from conception to completion, develop roadmaps and requirements, identify risks and develop contingency plans, evaluate impact, and regularly communicate status to partners
