As the Label Relations Manager, Catalog you will possess knowledge and relationships in the catalog label, artist and estate community – and above all – a passion for supporting artists’ catalog and longevity. The overarching objective of this tactical role is to execute artist campaigns that drive fan growth for artist catalogs and leverage Amazon Music’s unique toolset (livestreams, merch, spatial audio, voice initiatives etc. to name just a few) to deliver world class music experiences to customers on Amazon Music. As an expert in the community, the Label Relations Manager, Catalog will work collaboratively across a wide range of internal stakeholders (including the rest of the Label Relations team, Artist Relations, Programming, Artist Marketing and a large number of adjacent internal functions) as well as external industry stakeholders (artist teams, estates, record labels and others), to deliver and/or ensure execution against our growth goals. The successful candidate will balance a deep passion for, and knowledge of, the catalog industry as well as possess a high-level of organization, communication, attention to detail and collaborative working skills.

Key job responsibilities
The Label Relations Manager, Catalog will:
Work across an array of label, management and estate contacts to identify priority artist partnerships
Work in parallel with artist relations, artist marketing and programming, as well as other internal teams, to maximize business growth for all stakeholders
Manage, organize and prioritize inbound pitches and opportunities to align with Amazon Music goals
Work with international colleagues to identify multi-national campaign opportunities
Advocate for these partnerships internally to secure cross-functional buy-in
Manage and execute partnership plans for projects that deliver fan growth
Build, maintain and analyze data to glean actionable insights and best practices
Collaborate with front line labels and internal label relations teams to build complimentary catalog support for new release projects
Represent catalog label and artist interests externally on behalf of Amazon Music
Basic Qualifications
2+ years experience with label relations, artist management, account management, product/project management or sales/marketing ideally with a specialist catalog music role, label or artist management team
Knowledge of music industry and digital media landscape
Deep passion and understanding of the catalog music space
Sound work ethic with strong attention to detail and drive to deliver
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Experience in team-oriented work environment
Ability to interact with stakeholders across all levels of seniority
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent written communication and presentation skills

Ability to analyze data and create actionable insights

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
