Amazon Go-To-Market Lead, US Sports Marketing in Culver City, California

Description

We're seeking an experienced sports marketing professional to join the US Sports Marketing team on Prime Video. Operate as a GM with an owner's mindset as you lead Go-To-Market and build 360-degree marketing plans for sports content on Prime Video. You'll work with cross-functional teams across Amazon (eg. creative, O&O, product, paid media, production, programming) to build and execute integrated marketing plans that help us reach & exceed revenue, viewership, and other business goals. Your work will be highly visible and impactful, ultimately being a key driver in reaching ambitious goals.

Role can be based out of Amazon's Culver City, Seattle, or New York offices

Key job responsibilities

  • Own the go-to-market strategy and lead 360-degree marketing plans for live sports on Prime Video.

  • Own the main levers of the business to drive revenue and growth

  • Responsible for understanding and leveraging the full toolkit we have available to drive revenue and growth

  • Own the partnership with the paid media team and influence our paid media strategy across all live sports properties.

  • Partner with different Amazon creative teams (eg. Sports, Prime Video, Prime, central brand) to develop creative campaigns that inspire customers, engage fans, and drive growth of our service

  • Build relationships and become a trusted partner with the external leagues/organizations we work with.

  • Collaborate closely with finance and accounting teams to develop and launch strategic price promotions

  • Influence product to ensure a best-in-class user experience, optimizing both revenue potential and customer satisfaction

  • Dive deep into the nuances of marketing performance and viewership to uncover insights and learnings that will improve performance over time.

About the team

Prime Video has a vast selection of live and on demand sports content including Thursday Night Football, WNBA, New York Yankees, National Women’s Soccer League, and more. The Sports Marketing team is charged with creating world-class marketing campaigns to deliver this growing portfolio of live sports content to Amazon customers.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of driving compelling creative strategy and execution at an agency or in-house creative team experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience developing digital campaigns for O&O channels that have global scale

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements

  • A proven track record of owning marketing strategies that directly impact business goals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing cross-functional relationships with product, consumer research and marketing teams to develop strategy and consumer insights that drive compelling creative executions

  • Experience leading creative development of innovative creative from concept to delivery

  • Experience presenting creative concepts effectively to senior executives

  • Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines

  • Experience with creating GTM initiatives at scale

  • Experience in Sports Marketing and a deep of understanding of the shifting live sports, sports media, streaming, and media industries.

  • Experience with general management and growth of Pay-Per-View services

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
