We are seeking an ambitious Shipping Technicianfor our manufacturing operations located in Cullman, Alabama.

Main Roles and Responsibilities of Position:

• Verify shipments against bill of lading
• Pick items using SAP with a scanner (good basic math skills required)
• Operating forklift, also highbay and MD lift
• Repalitizing and shrink wrapping pallets for shipment.
• Loading and offloading trucks

Qualifications

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and operate forklift.
• The employee is required to reach with hands and arms to lift boxes and repalitize.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The employee must have good basic math skills to complete daily tasks.
• Operate highbay lift and other fork lift devices in DC.

Education and/or Experience Required:

• Comfortably use a computer and RF scanner daily
• Understanding to read and carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Ability to analyze problems involving production and notify proper people.
• Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled and fast paced environment.
