Job Summary: The Tool & Die maker is responsible for designing a wide variety of tools consistent with standard tool configuration, including cutting and forming tools. Duties Include: Makes new and repairs existing tools and fixtures by performing all operations necessary to construct, develop, alter, fit, align, adjust, calibrate and repair tooling, special machines and equipment. Works with engineers, and purchasing department to create purchasing requisitions for components and dies. Works with maintenance personnel during the construction of special machines and equipment or stamping tool builds to account for correct maintenance and repair of those machines and tools.
