We\'re hiring high performers as proven as our products. Join us. ATI is currently seeking an Operations Leader to join our facility located in Cudahy, WI. A successful Operations Leader is responsible for organizing, planning, and supervising dimensional and visual inspection of forgings produced by ATI. The Operations Leader is responsible for implementation of inspection functions which ensure product conformance to ATI Forging and customer requirements. This Operations Leader will make decisions on machineability of nonstandard parts and the communication of such decisions. Responsible for the trucking department manpower and daily tasking, Building 3 inspection and Building 3 Engineering. PRIMARY ACTIVITIES: Provide and maintain a safe work environment through continuous improvement, employee involvement, procedure development and problem resolution. Manage daily, weekly, monthly safety audit, crane inspections, and mobile equipment inspections. Plan, organize, and direct daily activities of all personnel assigned to satisfy in-process final dimensional and plant wide trucking requirements. Supervise hourly personnel to maintain and improve productivity. Coordinate material handling and manpower allocation for Trucking to provide uninterrupted flow of material in the plant and maximize efforts to meet customer delivery schedules. Provide necessary support to ensure continuous compliance to ISO 9002/AS9100A and any other customer specific inspection processes. Review of internal and external customer drawings to determine best most cost-effective inspection techniques required to insure all specified dimensional characteristics are verified with methods and tools that provide adequate confidence levels. Compile data on problem jobs and provide suitable communication to support corrective action. Provide instruction and training to hourly personnel to insure an effective and efficient work force. Insure employee conformance to Company work rules, promote quality and safety programs. Execute the requirements of union contracts and participate in grievance meetings. Basic Requirements Position requires a high school diploma 4+ years of dimensional inspection methods, techniques, equipment, and reading blueprints 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment such as forging and machining. 3+ years of experience of general supervisory skills and a thorough knowledge of applicable labor contract provisions and accident prevention fundamentals.
