Summary Global Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for managing the Customer Direct Global Supply Chain Projects and Trade Compliance. They work directly with Customers and the Sales Team to define deliverables while generating appropriate documentation. This business workflow is intended to eliminate the impact on traditional internal project resources. Will work closely with the Sales, Engineering (Outsource), Purchasing and Logistics Teams. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Develops the foundation of this Business Workflow at PD. Works closely with Customer/Sales to execute on delivered solution(s). Responsible for all project related details including PO requisition, quality criteria, packaging requirements and logistic details Manages the Trade Compliance aspect of all PD related business. Understands the importance of clear and concise documentation Strong communication skills to ensure there is a clear understanding of the plan of action Maintains communication with Internal and external parties on a daily basis outlining progress Maintain a project schedule Generates purchase requisitions for vendors when required for R&D projects Fosters a culture that values family, innovation, collaboration and empowerment Follows all safety and workplace policies Education/Certification Bachelor s degree in business, supply chain management, AAS or related field Experience 3-5 years of Work Experience in Global Trade and Compliance 1-3 years of Work Experience in Customer Direct Communication Experience working with multiple material types (Wood, Metal, Plastic, Adhesives, Wiring, etc.) Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Walking, sitting, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs. may be required throughout the workday
