Job Title: Machine Operator - Production Team
Job Description
Join our production team, specializing in the manufacturing of Carbon Rings and Seals for the Oil Industry. This unique opportunity includes roles in machine operating, grinder operating, quality control, material handling, CNC, and more. Our products, made from pressed carbon, serve as seals, couplings, washers, etc., and are known for their heat insulation properties.
Responsibilities
Operate machines to press powder carbon into small rings.
Operate grinding machines to ensure pieces are the correct size after quality checks with micrometers and calipers.
Perform offsets on machines to ensure parts are produced to specifications.
Visually inspect rings for imperfections and stack them neatly into large buckets.
Move buckets into a giant furnace to solidify the rings over 5 days.
Operate lapper machines and monitor progress.
Perform repetitive tasks and maintain consistent quality.
Essential Skills
Previous production experience working with machinery.
Experience with micrometers, calipers, drop gauges, or veneer.
Familiarity with blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Grinding experience.
Experience with press machinery, manual machines (mills/lathes/grinders), thermoforming machines, or injection molding machines.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Understanding of 'ID, OD' terms.
Good vision for handling small parts.
Ability to read and write English.
GED or high school diploma.
Willingness to submit to a drug test and background check.

Work Environment
Training occurs from 7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday. The environment can be dirty and hot, depending on the weather. We provide uniforms and daily laundry service for only $2 a week, ensuring clean uniforms every day. This is a great opportunity to enter the CNC field in a smaller but significant facility.
