The opportunity
Delaware North Gaming is hiring a Hotel Director to join our team at Mardi Gras Casino in Cross Lanes, West Virginia. As a Hotel Director, you will oversee the operations of all departments at Mardi Gras Casino and serve as a key decision maker and strategic business leader. You will lead by example and ensure guests consistently receive the highest level of service during their stay.
Pay
Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $84,200 - $113,700 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?
Lead and supervise all hotel operational areas; support General Manager in the areas of guest services, transportation, parking, front desk, etc.
Develop and implement standards of guest quality of service and team member performance in all hotel departments; train and develop team members
Adhere to and enforce sanitation and health and safety procedures; ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company regulations regarding the sale of alcohol, OSHA, payroll, and employment guidelines
Evaluate and recommend operational enhancements to improve guest service and satisfaction
Produce department budgets and forecasts; make recommendations to improve cash flow
More about you
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent required
Minimum of five years of managing large teams in a hospitality environment
Ability to analyze data and make sound business decisions
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Superior organization and guest service abilities
