We are currently seeking to hire an experienced Regional Sales & Account Manager to join our Connected Aviation Solutions group. This is a remote role within Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling and the development of the strategic account plans in their assigned region within Europe. The focus will be on new revenue as well as maintaining existing revenue. Initially this will be a hybrid role transitioning into a fully remote role.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Building strategic relationships within accounts in their assigned region and maximising development and growth opportunities

  • Achieve and expand new and existing revenue and customer loyalty through Account Management

  • Monitoring the commercial performance of accounts within a portfolio

  • Identify and develop additional sales potential and lead strategic account development plans thereby maximising development and growth opportunities

  • Seek new business opportunities within new and existing accounts

  • Be primarily responsible for ensuring the proper disposition of technical logistical and operational customer requests and day-to-day business is conducted within the guidelines of established contracts policies and procedures

  • Additional responsibilities will include scheduling and attending regular customer meetings; generating and communicating monthly statistical and operational reports; monitoring financials and implementing any corrective action as appropriate; managing contractual and billing issues related to third party maintenance

  • Representing the Connected Aviation Solutions group at conferences and trade shows

Basic Requirements:

  • Previous working experience in the Airline or Aviation industry

  • Relevant understanding of Airline and Aircraft IT and Telecom environments

  • Extensive Sales related experience with a track record of successful performance.

  • Professional Communication and Presentation Skills

  • Experience and knowledge of how to build networks

  • Actively listens and understands customers' strategic plans

  • Takes a proactive approach to identify new business opportunities

  • Experience in building Account Plans and engaging at the Senior Management level

  • Willing and able to travel within Europe, typically between 50-75%

Preferred Requirements:

  • Academic qualification – University degree or MBA

  • In the absence of a degree, equivalent and relevant experience.
