SAIC Senior Electrical Engineer in CRANE, Indiana

Description

SAIC is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the US Navy in Crane, IN. Work will be performed onsite.

The position is contingent upon contract award expected in Summer 2024.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provide engineering, design, and testing support for the development of Test Program Sets (TPS) to support standup of EW and Radar systems. Provide the software and hardware expertise required to analyze system specifications and testing requirements and shall ensure all required system parameters are tested in accordance with those specifications.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

• Support the assessment of Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) benches and test software for Electronic Warfare and Radar systems supported by the AEA Division as performing other workload.

• Analyze current testing strategies and requirements for these systems and produce/implement testing software that can fully test the required system components. This software shall be delivered as part of the test program sets utilized for the respective systems and shall include all documentation required for update/configuration tracking.

• Provide logistics support for the review, assessment, and implementation of supported EW and Radar systems OTPS testing capabilities.

• Provide lifecycle logistics support assessment and ensure the application of processes across the acquisition life for balanced solutions addressing capability needs, design considerations and constraints, as well as limitations imposed by technology, budget, and schedule, while working to reduce total Life Cycle Cost (LCC).

Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:

• Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience or equivalent; Masters and four (4) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience

• Electrical Engineer with experience developing and integrating Automated Test Systems

• Antenna measurement and characterization knowledge

• System improvements and obsolescence management

• Circuit Board design and validation

• Experience with a combination of the following: LabVIEW, LabVIEW Object Oriented Programming (LVOOP), MATLAB, OrCAD PSpice, OrCAD Capture CIS, Software/Hardware Integration, Wiring, Xilinx ISE.

CLEARANCE:

  • Must be a US Citizen

  • Must be able to obtain an interim Secret clearance, and hold a final Secret clearance.
