Precise Systems, Inc. Security Specialist I (General Security/Admin Support) in Crane, Indiana

We are currently seeking a Security Specialist I (General Security) to support our NSWC customer in Crane, IN. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following duties, as well as possess the following education and experience.
Duties:
• Apply requirements for classifying, marking, redacting, handling, transporting and safeguarding of protected and/or classified information and implement original and derivative classification standards
• Provide guidance and oversight for declassification, regrading, and marking classified and controlled unclassified information
• Support established security programs (e.g., personnel, physical, information, or industrial security) when such work requires, additionally, general administrative and or clerical skills, practical knowledge of specific security objectives, programs, methods and procedures, and skills in carrying out support tasks related to security administration
• Answer telephones, take messages, receives visitors, and gives routine information, referring callers to appropriate staff members for specific action
• Support, read, and understand security and access control policies, procedures, and has the ability to follow written and oral instructions related to the installations access control functions and office administration. Performs routine clerical duties such as typing, writing, filing, and making copies
• Support the proper protection of classified material and information including CUI and distribution statements
• Perform inventory of controlled unclassified material and collateral material classified up to Secret for administrative material entering and leaving code spaces and control points
• Provide guidance and oversight for declassification, regrading, and marking classified and controlled unclassified information
• Conduct reviews and inspections to determine compliance with and adherence to security related requirements; and documenting findings and recommendations of suspected security violation
Desired Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent, AA or BA is preferred.
Desired Experience:
• Customer service experience
• Applicants must have (1) year of experiences, education, or training that demonstrates the ability to follow directions, to read, understand, and retain a variety of instructions, regulations, and procedures.
• Applicants must demonstrate the ability or have endorsements that indicate the ability to learn and perform the cited position's duties. Must demonstrate knowledge of security classification methods, concepts, eligibility for access to classified or sensitive information and the process for granting personnel security clearances/accesses, and knowledge of commonly applied security principles, concepts, and methodologies in carrying out information, personnel, and physical security programs related to the protection of SCI.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
