TheInformation Security Analyst IIIassists management with development and execution of the Information Technology governance, risk assessment and security awareness programs and projects. This is a remote role.
Your Day to Day Stay abreast of latest developments in cybersecurity policies, frameworks, and regulations. Maintain awareness of and competency in the NIST Cybersecurity Framework as well as understanding of ISO, GDPR, CCPA, NIS2, CRA and other emerging regulations, frameworks, and guidance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, legal, compliance, and business owners) to ensure alignment with policy requirements. Translate technical policy language in clear, concise summaries for non-technical stakeholders. Communicate critical policy items, implications, and recommended actions to leadership, project teams, and relevant departments. Conduct training sessions for employees on policy awareness and compliance. Maintain information systems assurance materials for efforts relating to the third-party risk management. Report on the status IT governance and risk management activities. Support local, regional, and global Information Security Awareness Program engagements and events. Support the IT Governance and Risk Management program as directed by management.
Who You Are Associaties Degree in a related field of study or equivilant expereince. Capable of managing assignments and work with general supervision. Strong communication skills working within group and within Information Technology. Practical fundamental knowledge of IT and rudimentary Information Security principles and techniques, business unit products and services, industry standards, and government regulations preferred.
