MOFFAT COUNTY Social Caseworker I-III in CRAIG, Colorado
POSITION: Social Caseworker I-III
DUTIES: Performs various functions at a professional training level related to managing assigned cases, including: reviewing police reports and other documents to identify risk factors; conducting investigations; developing service plans and goals; interviewing clients and evaluating needs; conducting counseling and therapy; referring clients to appropriate agencies; providing crisis intervention; assisting in the removal and placement of children; conducting field visits to assess needs and make recommendations; and preparing case and court reports. Minimum Qualifications Required for I-III:
Education and Experience: Social Caseworker I: Bachelor s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in one of the behavioral science fields.
Social Caseworker II: Bachelor s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in one of the behavioral science fields, One year of full time professional social casework experience.
Social Caseworker III: Bachelor s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in one of the behavioral science fields, Two years of full time professional social casework experience.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must have a valid Driver's License.
WAGE: Pay is $20.00 - $28.90 per hour, varying by experience.
SHIFTS: Hours are generally Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm, some irregular hours could be required.
JOB SITE: Craig, CO.
