J ob Summary

The Senior Application Analyst - Revenue Cycle is a member of the Information Services Team with expert level knowledge of Revenue Cycle and Professional Billing application build, rules configuration and workflow integrations.

This role will primarily support the Practice Management / Professional Billing aspect of our Ambulatory application(s). They are responsible for the design and development of the workflow(s) involving user and provider setup, data input, sharing and exchange between 3rd party systems. This position also addresses the day-to-day operational issues reported by end users, integration/interface support, monitoring of queues, system utilization, and response time. Most integrations will involve interoperability for vendor partners, Ambulatory providers, and 3rd party applications.

A successful candidate will be able to provide the detailed solutions or recommendations to achieve a big picture goal around efficient workflows for all stakeholders. This role is vital with achieving the most efficient workflow design to accommodate all stakeholder needs from both the Business and Clinical areas of operations. Candidate will require an understanding of the technical workflow behind the applications and proficiency to use project management methodology to work with internal and external teams for implementations and optimizations. Position requires the ability to work independently to create and find solutions and seamlessly transition from a team leader to an effective team member depending on the situation. As a primary figure in Information Services, they must provide superb customer service by understanding the true needs of the stakeholders to help the organization’s overall goals through complex but integrated solutions.

Job Requirements

M inimum Education Requirement :

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in the area of a clinical field, business, or computer related field is highly desired. Experience in lieu of education may be considered.

Minimum Experience Requirement :

A minimum of three years Information Services experience in an ambulatory setting, integration and data sharing tools required. Proven Project management including use of planning, workflow analysis, consensus building, training, validation testing, go live planning and support. Strong analytic reasoning. Team Leadership skills. Clear, concise oral and written communications skills. Expertise with Meditech Expanse Ambulatory and able to demonstrate knowledge and expertise with other Ambulatory systems highly preferred. Familiarity with Meditech MIS Person Dictionary, or the ability to demonstrate how setup is achieved with a different Ambulatory product. Excellent customer service skills required.

Minimum License Requirement :

Current CA Driver`s license. Must be able to commute to various campuses or physician offices.

$42.96 - $61.43
