Police Officer for the City of Cottonwood. Must be at least 21 years of age, pass a background investigation, and live within 15 minutes of the Police Department. Will provide for the safety and security of a town of 950 people. Must work well with others and build existing relationships with area responders, schools, and governmental entities. Enforce State Law and Local Ordinances. Work daily with the public in a community policing environment. May be called out in case of emergency to respond as needed. Rotating shifts will include days, weekends, nights, and holidays.
Small-town policing in rural central Idaho, as such will work all aspects of police jobs from patrol, investigations, evidence, traffic, and SRO positions. If you want to make a positive impact on your community, this is the position for you.
