Weyerhaeuser, in Cottage Grove, OR, has an immediate opening for Mobile Equipment Mechanic. Pay Rate: $35.49

Job Duties:
- Preventative maintenance and repair of forklifts, man-lifts, light trucks, vacuum equipment, and other mobile equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic or other component failure.
- Disassemble, overhaul, repair and reassemble any equipment components including engines, transmissions, differentials, clutches, brakes, hydraulic systems, brake systems, fuel systems, etc.
- Maintain and order inventory within budget constraints.
- Complete ignition and carburation or fuel injection timing tune-ups on propane, gas, or diesel.
Manage equipment warranties as needed.
Certified Industrial Equipment Mechanic or associate degree for Diesel Mechanic, or 2 years of related industrial mechanic experience.
- 6 months' experience.
- Minimum age 18.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must be available for all shifts times & days.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must attach a resume to the application.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must wear all safety equipment and obey all safety rules.
- Participate in safety initiatives, including exhibiting safe work practices and helping others work safely.
- Be able to perform labor-intensive work.
- Be able to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds safely, climb steps and ladders, and stand or work up to 3 hours at a time for 10–13-hour shifts.
- Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and physical.
