Aerotek Electro Mechanical Technician in Cottage Grove, Minnesota
Job Title: Electro Mechanical Technician - Full Benefits - Will pay up to $40/hr.
Job Description
As an Electro Mechanical Technician, you will play a crucial role in testing controls of all new and existing electrical control and safety systems within our plant and all external buildings within our campus.
Your expertise in PLC troubleshooting will help maintain our existing alarm systems and keep our operations running smoothly.
Your contributions to an effective, predictive, and preventative maintenance program will ensure optimum machine time availability and production efficiency. This includes dealing with Robotics, Automated Processing Equipment, HVAC systems, Refrigeration Systems, and other plant operational systems.
You will also be required to regularly inspect plant facilities, production support systems, and equipment, respond to 'line calls' from production to assist with equipment uptime, and occasionally communicate and work with outside contractors.
Your role will be vital in maintaining facility and equipment for safety (food and teammate) issues, and responding appropriately.
