General Summary.....
The main function of the Recyclable Materials Attendant will be to assist his supervisor in all activities related to the disposal of materials and the maintenance of the building.
This position will be responsible for...…..
Dispose of plastic, cardboard and materials in a safe and orderly manner;
Ensure the cleanliness of the floors and the building;
Support other shifts when required;
Maintain an efficient, clean and safe working environment in accordance with the client, FedEx Supply Chains and CSST standards;
Complete various monitoring and control reports when required;
Perform any other tasks and responsibilities entrusted by management;

High School Diploma or equivalence;
Work experience in an industrial environment;
Knowledge of the WHMIS program (management of hazardous materials);
Ability to work in a computerized environment;
Special attention to detail and cleanliness;
Ability to maintain harmonious relationships with co-workers;
Great sense of customer service;
Bilingualism Oral and written, an asset;
Ability to work standing for long periods;
Recognized certification for rolling and motorized equipment, an asset;
Warehouse environment. May be exposed to variable temperature conditions;
Must be able to work at heights (15 meters);
