Robert Half System Administrator in Costa Mesa, California

Description

We are looking for a System Admin that will serve as the primary point of contact for all technology-related issues and solutions within CenterCal Information Technology. Responsibilities include setting up and troubleshooting client/server hardware, incorporating new users, developing Microsoft Office 365 solutions, and providing overall technology support at the Costa Mesa office. CenterCal IT appreciates team members who are dedicated to excellent customer service, efficiency, creativity, and a holistic approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities:

Proven proficiency in supporting end users within a Microsoft client and cloud technology setting. • Solid experience with Office 365 technologies such as Exchange Online SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive. • Familiarity with Azure technologies including Azure Files, Entra ID, VMs, and virtual desktops. • Awareness of fundamental cybersecurity concepts to ensure a secure and fully operational technology environment. Prior Crowdstrike experience is a bonus. • Familiarity with Microsoft Intune and Autopilot for deployment and maintenance of client hardware across a widespread organization. • Experienced in PowerShell scripting for managing Azure and Office 365 technologies. • Robust understanding of systems monitoring, technology asset reporting, and logging. • Capable of working with database technologies to query and analyze data. • Prior experience in a helpdesk setting and troubleshooting client issues. • Familiarity with Cisco Meraki technologies including firewalls, switches, and access points. • Capable of performing network troubleshooting and configuration. • Exposure to commercial real estate software like Yardi. • Capacity to build effective relationships while retaining neutrality for fair and impartial suggestions. • Willingness to respond to emergency situations during non-working hours. • Strong experience in commercial real estate is highly preferred. • Maintains confidentiality, exhibits sound judgment. • Robust organizational, problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills. • High work ethic, impeccable integrity, and an eagerness to excel. • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of experience working in a technical role troubleshooting Microsoft environments • Hands on experience developing solutions in Microsoft SharePoint • Experience administering Office 365 licensing, access, and security features • Exposure to Microsoft cloud technologies including Intune, Entra ID, Autopilot, and Defender • Basic networking skills to support and troubleshoot end user hardware, VPN and network devices
