Minimum/Required Qualifications Senior Auditor & Staff Auditor Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or related business field from an accredited four-year college or university. Proficiency in financial accounting principles and techniques. Ability to apply generally accepted auditing standards, IIA Code of Ethics and the Institute of Internal Auditor (IIA) Global Internal Audit Standards (Standards), as well as other authoritative guidance contained in the Standards. Strong, effective written and oral communication skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with audiences from diverse backgrounds and with different communication styles. A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and the espoused values outlined in OSU\'s Diversity Action Plan. Attention to detail Ability to multi-task Proficiency in the use of computers, including word-processing, spreadsheets, data analytics, and flowcharting applications. Senior Auditor Specific: A professional auditing or accounting certification such as certified internal auditor, certified public accountant, certified information systems auditor, or certified fraud examiner. A minimum of three years of auditing experience. Staff Auditor Specific: Candidate for Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification. Progress required towards certification within six months of hire date. Ongoing, demonstrated progress required with final certification obtained within two years of hire date.
