Minimum/Required Qualifications \' Bachelor\'s degree. \' Current certification in either National Strength and Conditioning Association Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and / or Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC). \' Must have a current certification in CPR, AED and First Aid. \' Two (2) years of full-time (Graduate Assistant included) NCAA or Professional strength and conditioning coaching experience in the sport of Basketball with a demonstrated competency in the safe and effective development of strength and conditioning training and with the necessary training to respond to emergency situations arising from that training. \' Demonstrated ability to communicate in a manner that shows respect and inclusivity for student athletes, student workers and colleagues. Position Duties 60% COACHING Provide consultation and expert advice to Head Coach and team members regarding the progress of each student-athlete relative to their specific position for Women\'s Basketball. 15% TEAM ADMINISTRATION Plan long and short-term team objectives under the leadership of the Head Coach. 10% RECRUITMENT Prepare and distribute recruiting information. Participate in campus visits with prospective student-athletes and their parents. 10% Facility Operations Support daily operations of the P. Wayne Valley Sports Performance Center. 5% CAMPUS / COMMUNITY COMMUNICATION Interact with various campus offices, departments, as well as individual faculty and staff members.
