Job Summary
The Graduate School is seeking a Customer Relationship Management ( CRM ) Manager. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE ), 12-month, professional faculty position.
The Graduate School’s primary missions are to advance graduate education, to assure quality and unquestionable standards and to maintain the academic integrity of approximately 100 graduate programs.
The incumbent will support prospective students and graduate program staff and faculty throughout the entirety of the graduate admissions cycle, starting with application intake and continuing through admission and matriculation.
The individual in this position will provide guidance and support to functional users in the day-to-day management of the Technolutions’ Slate CRM supporting graduate admissions, building complex queries, updating and managing automations, overseeing branding and accessibility compliance requirements, providing communication support, managing the flow of admission applications and release of decisions, supporting document management, performing data uploads into Slate, and working with integrations with other campus systems.
The incumbent will possess previous experience managing Customer Relationship Management ( CRM ) systems, a proven track record of designing and implementing creative operational or technical solutions, knowledge of data logic and querying tools, the ability to respond to changing business needs and learn quickly, exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills and a customer and student-centric approach, as well as the drive to improve the functioning of the Oregon State University graduate Slate instance.

What You Will Need
Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
3 years of experience in an information technology related field.
Knowledge of and experience in working independently in Slate CRM or other CRM technology and the accompanying knowledge of data logic and query tools.
Demonstrated ability to take business requirements and use them to formulate technical design.
Ability to communicate clearly and a willingness to work with, assist, train and share knowledge with university stakeholders.
Experience interacting with and/or providing service to people with different backgrounds, perspectives, identities and life experiences.
The ability to respond to changing business needs and learn quickly.
Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills and a customer and student-centric approach, as well as the drive to improve the functioning of the Oregon State University graduate Slate instance.
This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a criminal history check and be determined to be position qualified as per University Standard: 05-010 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in youth programs may have additional criminal history checks every 24 months.
What We Would Like You to Have
Three or more years of experience with CRM software administration and database management.
Knowledge and understanding of Liquid Markup, XML , SQL , HTML , CSS , and API Integrations.
Previous university admissions experience or knowledge of academic policies and procedures in a higher education setting.
Working Conditions / Work Schedule
This position, with director approval, is open to fully remote or hybrid work arrangements utilizing online team collaboration tools. Occasional travel may be required.
