Racker Floating Teacher Aide in Cortland, New York
Overview
Come join our team! We are looking to hire a full time (30 -40 hours per week) benefits eligible Floating Teacher Aide for the Racker Preschool. This position will work with the preschool children with a variety of disabilities in an intergrated classroom program. Individuals will receive training in strategies for working with childern with disabilities. Floating Teacher Aides will be responsible for working directly with children, facilitating participation in group activities throughout the day, keeping the classroom clean and organized, preparing classroom materials, and participating in staff meeting s.

Responsibilities
The floating substitute teacher aide will assist teachers across multiple classrooms, providing coverage for staff breaks and absences.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Experience working with preschool age children is a plus
Experience is not required but is preferred. Candidates should have a love of children, an openness to learning, and ability to keep up with active students.
