In the role of Engineer I, you will have the opportunity to aid in the development of cutting-edge products by measuring what matters to customers.

This position is an onsite position and is located in Cortland, NY

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Support product testing for accelerated (new) product development and existing Pall products.

  • Work hands-on individually as well as with a team to develop cutting-edge metrology to quantify the performance of products, complete action items and guide products through the development process.

  • Grow to work independently, apply a broad perspective to new technical approaches to solve meaningful problems and perhaps generate intellectual property.

  • Drive continuous improvement activities and application of relevant Danaher Business System (DBS) tools.

  • Engage with Pall customers to understand key performance indicators and how they are measured.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering required. Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering preferred

  • Familiarity with research and product development processes, fluid mechanics, and experimental methods

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners

  • Willingness to work with fragrant substances with appropriate personal protective equipment

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Knowledge of filter design, chemical and hydromechanics, membrane technology, gas separation technology, electrolyzers technology, rechargeable battery technology

  • Ability to travel, as needed, both nationally and internationally.

  • Experience with CAD software

  • Ability to set up/execute a design of experiment (DOE)

  • Ability to assume larger roles as organizational needed

The salary range for this role is $59,000 - $80,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
