POSITION OVERVIEW

DEFTEC Corporation seeks a Resource Manager to support the Space Training and Readiness Command Human Capital Directorate (S1). The S1 reaches across the STARCOM Enterprise to provide Personnel support (Military and Civilian), manpower support, systems and program integration, and civilian pay oversight. STARCOM/S1 develops United States Space Force (USSF) and United States Air Force human capital policies to prepare STARCOM forces to prevail in a Contested, Degraded, and Operationally Limited (CDO) environment . This position will assist in providing strategic resource management and in planning the effective execution of the S1 budget and other S1 directorate financial resources to achieve the strategic goals of STARCOM and USSF.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Possessing specific capabilities to include executive coaching, reviewing resource execution, developing financial assessments, and developing improvement strategies.

  • Maintaining and updating the Program Managers Resource Tool modules.

  • Maintaining and updating the Performing Travel and Government Purchase Card funds management and tracking.

  • Maintaining and updating the Strategic Management Tool.

  • Maintaining and updating the Resource Management Tool to Include the Requirements Approval Document tool.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in resource management for the USAF or USSF

  • Experience performing travel and government purchase card programs and tracking

  • Experience updating the Strategic Management and Resource Management tools

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Top-secret security clearance
