Hilton Assistant Director of Housekeeping at Hotel Del Coronado in Coronado, California

As our Assistant Director of Housekeeping, you will be responsible for assisting the Director in the direction and administration of all Housekeeping operations to ensure the overall cleanliness and product quality of the hotel in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing?

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Managing and directing the mid-shift , distribute, delegate and direct workload to ensure maximum productivity and customer satisfactionwithminimumoutlayofexpensesintermsoflaborandmaterial including all supplies, equipment and amenities.Monitor and evaluate teammemberperformance.Coachandcounselteammemberswhenneeded andengage with Union Representatives to effectively and efficiently resolve issues.
  • Planandmonitoractivitiestoensurecompliancewithqualityassurancestandards.Inspect workinPublicSpaceandGuestroomsandprovideguidelinestoensurestandardsaremet and deficiencies are corrected.
  • Communicateeffectivelytoconductstaffanddepartmentalmeetings.Attendvariousother related meetings to obtain and disseminate pertinent information.
  • SelectandtrainHousekeepingteammembers inproperworkproceduresandtechniques.
  • Ensure proper usage of chemicals and cleaning supplies by monitoring usage, providing completetrainingforteammembersandensuringproperlabelingofhazardoussuppliesin accordance with the Hotel's Hazcom program.
  • AssistDirectorwiththepreparationof annualbudgetsandmonthlyforecasts.Monitorand control budget throughout the year.

Salary Range: The annual salary range for this role is $85,000 - $95,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
