Guthrie Clinical Instructor - Staff Education - Part Time in Corning, New York

The pay for this position ranges from 33.61-50.45.

Position Summary: To support the provision of quality health care by planning, implementing, & evaluating educational strategies that promote optimal learning & enhance learner competence.

Education, License & Cert: Registered nurse with a bachelors in nursing is required. A master’s in nursing is preferred. Certification in specialty (CCRN, CEN, Med/Surg, or Professional Development) preferred. Current BLS for HCP, ACLS/PALS Provider/ Instructor level preferred.

Experience: Registered nurse with 5 years of experience. Exposure and the ability to use PowerPoint, Word and Excel is a required.

Essential Functions: 1. Develop an assessment process to determine facility learning needs. 2. Facilitate the adult learning process 3. Assist in selection of most appropriate teaching/learning methods. 4. Plan, develop, & present educational materials 5. Evaluate outcomes of educational sessions & restructure program as needed 6. Develop & maintain a level of competency appropriate to one’s practice environment 7. Acquire resources needed for quality program design & delivery

Other Duties: 1. Travel is required at times to assist with education at non‐hospital campus locations. 2. Participation in community events to help provide awareness and education. 3.
