Description:

As an Experienced Process Engineer, you will play a vital role in the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for surgical needle production. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Functioning as the primary engineering owner for assigned manufacturing processes

  • Leading projects to innovate process technology, improve reliability, or increase capacity

  • Providing written and oral reports on process performance

  • Collaborating with Manufacturing Operations and Maintenance to resolve technical issues

  • Investigating and leading corrective actions for product and process nonconformances

  • Acting as a safety champion by training personnel and investigating safety incidents

  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives in your assigned area

  • Supporting the implementation of new processes and process modifications

  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements

Qualifications

Education:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science/Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • 2 years of relevant experience

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills and the ability to apply them with initiative

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and other relevant applications.

Preferred:

  • Preferred qualifications include knowledge of process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) and familiarity with statistical analysis.

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, such as through internships or co-op programs, is highly desirable.

Other:

  • This position will be located 100% onsite in Cornelia, GA, with occasional domestic travel required.
