A Structural Engineering Professional is needed for an engineering consulting company. Remote work in North East area. This position as Structural Engineer entails performing advanced structural analysis and design, overseeing project teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and providing mentorship to junior engineers.

responsibilities:
Perform Structural analysis and design for projects.
Collaborate with Structural Lead, other Engineers, Designers, and disciplines.
Develop design concepts and complete analysis and design.
Take on Lead Structural Engineer role for medium sized projects or Sub-Lead for larger projects.
Manage workload, commitments, and take ownership of assigned work.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to designers/drafters and less experienced engineers.
Embrace emerging technologies and advance workflows, systems, and tools within the structural discipline.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Structural engineering.
Professional Engineer License (PE).
Preferred Qualification:
MS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Structural Engineer License (SE).
Experience in designing and analyzing traditional steel and concrete structures.
Experience in Semi-conductor industrial or general industrial facilities.
Experience with STAAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.
