The Senior Systems Administrator leads a high-performing, innovative, agile team that delivers robust, secure, leading-edge technology and is responsible for working closely with senior functional and technical team members, managing and running more complex, enterprise and strategic technical projects. With a focus on automation, simplification, user experience, and user experience design, this systems expert role leads scoping, requirements gathering, resource management, configuration, and documentation. Solutions leverage products such as: Hyland OnBase, Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, and more.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead high-performing teams that deliver robust, secure, leading-edge technology while incorporating a sense of belonging and ownership among team members.

• Serve as a platform and related applications technical expert.

• Responsible for intake, scoping, estimating, resource management and service delivery for operations, projects, and initiatives.

• Partner, plan and communicate with stakeholders, end users, internal teams, and vendors.

• Manage requirements sessions with stakeholders to capture business use cases, document requirements, and translate into system specifications.

• Create and implement detailed system designs that support business requirements.

• Conduct technical reviews with development and design team members to ensure quality products that follow best practices.

• Ensure solutions are scalable, efficient, follow internal product roadmaps and align with the enterprise standards.

• Research, test, troubleshoot and participate in scheduled technical releases and upgrades.

• Advocate of scrum and agile values, principles, and practices to help ensure projects are implemented according to requirements and emphasize continuous improvement, collaboration, delivery, reflection, and improvement.

• Create detailed work items that include user stories, acceptance criteria, tasks, assets, and test scripts.

• Monitor system performance and integrations to identify issues and escalate to the proper channels for review and resolution. Available during non-business hours.

• Engage our community of users by providing support, training, moderating user generated content, creating community content and escalating any issues to the appropriate internal teams.

• Attend professional meetings, workshops, conferences, and seminars to keep abreast of technological advancements.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

Certification and Licensing:

Salesforce System Administrator certification (preferred)

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator (preferred)

OnBase Administrator certification (preferred)

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, includes any combination of the following: system administration (CRM, document management, and/or integrated third party applications), automation, configuration, form building, process improvement, business analysis, or project management. Any relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered

• Managing or participating in a full application development lifecycle

• Working in a fast-paced environment while managing simultaneous projects

• Learning and implementing new technologies

• Higher education business processes (preferred)

• Agile background (preferred)

Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:

• Ask penetrating questions, detect unstated assumptions and resolve conflicts

• Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal)

• Detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow through on projects

• Identify and mitigate risks in process and technology

• Experience in all phases of the software development life cycle

• Exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions

• Plan work, organize time, and supervise team
