The Global Health Studies (GHS) Program, within the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Miami, is now accepting applications for Part-Time Lecturers. Lecturers will have the opportunity to teach up to two courses per semester in the GHS Program. Please note that since GHS is a program, this appointment will be housed within the Department of Geography and Sustainable Development.
Minimum qualifications: Candidates must have a Master’s degree, with a Ph.D. preferred. Applicants are expected to perform high-quality teaching and will be responsible for teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses. All candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching. Candidates with teaching and professional experience in global health disciplines (e.g., global/public health, social sciences, medicine, environmental health, health systems research, health systems management, and epidemiology) are encouraged to apply.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and this pool will remain open throughout the academic year. An appointment or offer is contingent upon student demand (enrollments) and available funding, with the possibility that final confirmation may not be available until classes begin.
