Austin Industries Project Controls Specialist - Austin Bridge & Road in Coppell, Texas
Description
The Project Controls Department is responsible for integrating project management and cost control functions to enhance project performance. The Project Control Specialist will be responsible for providing support to our department and project teams, ensuring the smooth operation of construction projects from inception to completion.
Description
Assist in the preparation of project budgets
Prepare and distribute project reports and status updates to leadership
Support project start-up and close out activities
Maintain and update our operating software (HCSS) for new hires
Audit project compliance to TAW2
Conduct project risk assessments as needed
Facilitate multiple trainings from onboarding to continuous learning opportunities
Ad Hoc special projects
Requirements
Proven experience in construction project administration or related role
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
Knowledge of construction project management software (e.g., CMIC HCSS, Primavera P6)
Familiarity with construction contracts, regulations, and best practices
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Displays first-rate customer service skills - willing to help with a positive attitude when/where needed
2 Years construction related experience
