Are you interested in bridging the gap between our global manufacturing sectors and IT to address the future IT challenges in the pharmaceutical industry?

We are seeking a temporary Senior IT Project Manager to implement new IT solutions, filling in for our current Senior IT Project Manager until the end of 2025.

Your new role

In the role you will balance a mix of smaller tasks and larger implementation projects alongside with work related to improving our approach to implementation of IT projects in Lundbeck – the role requires you to collaborate and coordinate with both internal IT colleagues, external IT vendors and key stakeholders in the business.

The following are covered in the role:

  • Coordinate the definition and approval of new IT projects (IT business case work).

  • Lead project teams and work-streams to ensure timely delivery.

  • Proactively manage scope, timeline, quality, budget, risks, issues, and actions throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Facilitate technical clarifications and problem-solving during project execution.

  • Liaise between internal customers, IT, and external resources to ensure alignment and progress.

  • Drive adherence to IT documentation standards across all project phases.

The position is based in Copenhagen.

Your future team

As our new Senior IT Project Manager, you will join a highly skilled and motivated team of IT professionals involved in sourcing, implementing, and managing IT solutions to continuously support and improve our manufacturing areas.

The team is part of Business IT Delivery within Global IT. Business IT Delivery is our Pharma IT Powerhouse consisting of solutions architects and project managers, partnering closely with key business areas; R&D, Manufacturing and Supporting Functions.

Global IT is an organization with approximate 140 colleagues around the globe. We deliver IT and digital solutions while ensuring efficient operations to more than 5300 colleagues across all business areas and geographies. What you bring to the team

Entries into the position vary, however you most likely have a higher education and are currently working as an IT consultant (with a technical implementation focus) or in a position as IT Project Manager, and you are now ready to take the next step in your career and bring:

  • 5-10 years’ experience working with implementation of IT solutions either with an IT project management or technical implementation focus

  • Knowledge and understanding of the interface between IT organizations and Line of Business

  • An ability to facilitate technical problem solving in close collaboration with SME’s from across the organization

  • Good problem-solving skills

  • Comprehensive organizational skills

  • Good communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to coordinate own and other’s deliverables in a project context

  • Advanced written and verbal English communications skills

  • PMP Project Management Professional certification preferred

You should be acknowledged for your ability to coordinate and facilitate deliverables and known as a person who gets things done. You have a high personal motivation and focus on achieving key goals, even in complex settings.
