Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute player-first strategies and creative campaigns with the Game Fandom Lead, ensuring alignment with LEGO brand values and community activations.

  • Act as the liaison between LEGO fans and the GAME development team by engaging the community, amplifying UGC, and managing community channels like Discord and Reddit, with a focus on Fortnite-related events and LEGO island content.

  • Gather and analyze community feedback to guide future developments and act as the voice of the players in discussions with the LEGO GAME team and Epic Games.

  • Coordinate and host virtual and in-game events, livestreams, and Q&A sessions to create memorable experiences within the Fortnite ecosystem.

  • Monitor gaming trends, analyze community feedback, and report engagement metrics to guide community strategies and improvements.

Please note: This is a position based in Billund or Copenhagen, Denmark. Our flexible working model allows employees to work 2 days/week from home (3 days in the office). Relocation support might be offered for this role.

Do you have what it takes?

  • 2+ years in a similar role, ideally within gaming, with proven experience growing and nurturing an online fan community.

  • Passion for gaming and community-building, with experience in player-first gaming spaces and ecosystems.

  • Experience starting and growing communities on Discord, Reddit, and other community channels.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience working with global markets.

  • Strong familiarity with Fortnite and LEGO products, understanding storytelling for different audiences and IPs.

Desirable Skills and Attributes:

  • Experience in navigating large, matrix-structured organizations with multiple partners.

  • Insight into innovative marketing strategies within gaming and creator economies.

  • Capability to thrive in a dynamic environment, proactively driving solutions.

  • Excellent project management abilities and a passion for crafting engaging experiences.

  • Collaborative experience with product and marketing teams, with an emphasis on enhancing leadership skills.
