RF Engineers at Lutron participate within a cross-functional team to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative, high-quality consumer products and services for commercial and residential use.

There are a variety of technical areas throughout the product lifecycle that you could encounter from day one, such as:

  • Design for electromagnetic compatibility, noise immunity, and thermal dissipation
  • Analog/RF circuit design, analysis, and verification to ensure certification compliance
  • Rapid prototyping and design for manufacturing
  • RF communication links and link budgets
  • Certification methods to understand global footprint
  • Cutting edge silicon technology and software defined radio
  • Full system tradeoffs with adaptive mesh technology Responsibilities

  • Utilizing problem-solving abilities to develop new and innovative RF circuit designs

  • Collaborating with engineers from different disciplines to design robust and reliable RF solutions that adhere to the constraints of real products
  • Supporting existing products and systems by resolving manufacturing issues, part obsolescence challenges and supply chain shortages
  • Work in close partnership with RF team members to maximize the team's effectiveness
  • Continue to develop RF skills through mentorship by senior RF leaders within the organization
  • Assuring a high standard of quality in your own work to ensure adherence to established RF design principles and testing practices Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electronics Engineering

  • Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 for each degree earned
  • 0-3 years experience in a related field
  • Willingness to travel 5-10% of the time for inter-office collaboration, site visits, etc.
