The Cash & Carry Assistant Manager is responsible for directing and guiding the Cash and Carry employees following IWC’s Mission, Vision, and Values. Will be a key-holder and mostly work the late evening shift.

  • Assists Manager in daily store operations.

  • Excellent customer service must be shown at all times.

  • Works with Purchasing department, on missed opportunities, and special order needs.

  • Must be available to work days, nights, weekends, and to include Sunday Inventory practices. Includes closing procedures and responsibilities.

  • Responsible for accurate accounting practices that include reconciliation of the till, bank deposits and till replenishment.

  • Assists Manager in strengths, trends, and any missed opportunities of business.

  • Assists Manager in training needs of other employees. Work with New Employees, and guide them thru the onboard training. Be able to assess strengths and weaknesses of other employees.

  • Works with employees and leverage individual strengths to accomplish store goals, and company goals.

  • Ensures company standards are met daily with employees, store operations, and customers.

  • Ensures cleanliness and food safety policies are followed in Manager’s absence.

  • Receives inventory from DSD, Warehouse, and other outside truck orders.

  • Assists Manager with ensuring all policies and procedures are followed.

  • Completes necessary price changing functions.

  • Handles incidents (customers, building or employees), with HR, in Manager’s absence.

  • Maintains security and safety of the store in Manager’s absence.

  • Communicates effectively of any opportunities in Manager’s absence.

  • Store resets, Merchandising, and event planning.

  • Must be able to communicate, lead, and set the example with other employees.

  • Must be able to read, comprehend, and follow all work instructions.

  • Working your assigned schedule and coming to work on time is required.
