Job Summary

Reporting to the Product Team, the Program Owner Acts as a liaison between the development group and business units for the development and implementation of new systems/products and enhancement of existing systems | Evaluates new applications and identifies systems requirements | Evaluates new developments and evolving business requirements and recommends appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems | Prepares communications and makes presentations on system/product enhancements and/or alternatives.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

  • Enhance Customer Satisfaction : Focus on delivering features and enhancements that improve the user experience and address customer feedback. Regularly engage with customers and end-users to gather insights and validate product decisions, ensuring that the product continuously meets or exceeds customer expectations.

  • Define and Prioritize Product Backlog : Develop and maintain a clear, prioritized product backlog that aligns with the company's strategic goals and addresses customer needs. This involves working closely with Product Managers to understand business objectives, with System Integrator’s / End User’s ensuring that the backlog items are well-defined, and prioritizing features and improvements based on business value and technical feasibility.

  • Drive Product Vision and Strategy : Articulate a clear product vision and strategy for the building automation solutions. This includes understanding market trends, customer pain points, and competitive landscape to help the team define features that guide product development and ensures alignment with the company's long-term objectives.

  • Ensure High-Quality Product Deliveries : works with Project Managers to oversee the development process to ensure that the building automation products meet quality standards and are delivered on time. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, Product Management, and quality assurance to address any issues that

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

  • 9 to 12 years of experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent

  • Seasoned leader with experience in cross functional team management and project management

  • Technical Knowledge (electronics, mechanical, firmware, software ) to understand and lead day to day activities of a technical team

  • Ability to drive a team in a matrix organization to achieve the goal

  • Knowledge of NPI (New Product Introduction) & Commercial / Marketing activities

  • Strong Business acumen and customer oriented

  • Very strong Leadership Initiative

  • Capacity to adapt and adjust to different situations

  • Capacity to analyze & summarize

  • Persistence in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success

  • Powerful Motivator and negotiator

  • Be able to elevate vocabulary according to the audience

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Degree in Electronics / Software Development

The range for this position is $74,700.00 to $139,900.00 Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
