P2E - New Hampshire Group EVS/Facilities Manager in Conway, New Hampshire
EVS/Facilities Manager
Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the facilities department - Develop and implement facility maintenance programs and schedules - Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations, including OSHA standards - Coordinate and supervise custodial staff, including training and performance evaluations - Manage vendor relationships for facility maintenance services - Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly - Develop and manage budgets for facility maintenance and repairs - Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve any facility-related issues - Implement and maintain effective systems for tracking maintenance requests and work orders
Skills: - Strong knowledge of floor care techniques, including cleaning, buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing - Experience in custodial services, including sanitizing and cleaning various surfaces - Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment - Knowledge of environmental services standards in a healthcare or hospital setting is a plus - Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively - Strong problem-solving abilities to address facility-related issues promptly - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Ability to work in an environment exposed to secondhand smoke, moderate to loud noise levels, and varied light levels, including flashing lights.
Ability to stand, walk, bend for entire shift.
