Carrier Treasury Analyst - Cash Management in Connecticut

If you are looking to use your experience to develop solutions in multifaceted treasury situations and are looking for an opportunity to develop your Treasury career, then we have a great opportunity for you as a Cash Management Analyst at Industrial Fire's new headquarters location near Stamford, CT. This role is highly dynamic and will support cash management and aide in a successful transition of the Industrial Fire business from Carrier to Sentinel Capital Partners in Q3 2024.

This position will provide you with the exciting opportunity to support the centralized treasury operations, primarily supporting EMEA but also the APAC operations, as needed. The role is expected to contribute materially to the group’s cash optimization goals. You will support our regional liquidity activities using treasury management systems and banking tools to determine daily cash position to support cash optimization actions. This role will also support other cash management related activities, such as e-banking, bank account consolidation, etc. This position will report to the Director of Treasury and Tax Operations and will be based in Stamford, CT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute day-to-day activities for the company’s banking infrastructure and relationships, including monitoring services, pricing structures and documentation

  • Support development of cash management solutions to centralize liquidity from group companies

  • Responsible for intercompany loan portfolio – maintaining loan documentation, reporting, interest accruals, intercompany balance reconciliations

  • Execute payments for select operations

  • Support banking consolidation & other Treasury projects

  • Support risk and control processes, including continuous improvement to Treasury processes and systems Communicate, collaborate, and coordinate with other members of the treasury group, as well as other headquarter and business functions as appropriate and necessary in the performance of day-to-day work

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting

  • 2+ years of experience in Treasury, financial and/or accounting roles

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior banking experience an advantage

  • MBA, CTP, CPA, CFA (a plus, but not required)

  • Experience in the use of different types of banking platforms

  • Direct experience with payments, cost management, banking, and financial systems is helpful

  • Strong analytical ability and effective communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and ability to meet deadlines

  • Strong PC skills including advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

  • Detail oriented with attention to quality / accuracy

  • A desire to learn and develop into the role

Pay Range:

$92,856 - $130,206 Annually
