Position Summary

The Sales Support Consultant role is an entry level position into a Fortune 500 Company that offers significant opportunities for career development and advancement. We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Health Insurance Installation Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately installing new groups for health insurance policies. Your primary duties will include coordinating with clients, brokers, and internal teams to gather necessary information, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and accurately inputting data into our systems.

This role provides a wide variety of support functions for the Sales Team. A successful candidate is one that is eager to learn and grow, and one that can work independently to resolve issues and build trust and rapport with internal and external team members. This candidate will also have{possess} the following:

  • Client Coordination: Communicate effectively with clients and brokers to gather necessary information for group installations.

  • Data Management: Accurately input and maintain client information, policy details, and other relevant data into our systems.

  • Compliance: Ensure that all group installations comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.

  • Problem Solving: Address any issues or discrepancies related to group installations promptly and effectively.

  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of all group installation processes and procedures.

  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, underwriting, and customer service, to ensure smooth group installation processes.

  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to clients and internal teams on group installation procedures and best practices.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development and implementation of new procedures and tools.

  • Correspond professionally and promptly both verbally and in writing

  • Basic computer skills and software familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Salesforce is a plus

  • Effective teamwork skills

Required Qualifications

• 1-2 years relevant experience

• Experience in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

• Knowledge and experience with administrative operations

• Accomplish workload efficiently in a fast-paced, environment

• Demonstrates Aetna values through actions and communication

• Demonstrate high level of interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with the team to reach market goals

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Must be located in CA

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in health insurance administration or related field preferred.

• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal teams.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to think critically and analytically.

• Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with insurance management software preferred.

• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Assist team with processing RFPs as needed

Education

High school diploma or GED.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$18.50 - $40.54

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
