Comstock Community Center Preschool 3's Lead Teacher in Comstock, Michigan
Preschool 3's Lead Teacher:
- Collaborate with the assistant teacher to plan and implement age-appropriate activities.
- Support in creating lesson plans and educational materials.
- Supervision and Care:
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
- Supervise children during activities, playtime, meals, and nap time.
- Classroom Management:
- Implement Creative Curriculum appropriate for age group.
- Maintain a positive and organized classroom environment.
- Maintain behavior management and promote positive discipline.
- Interaction with Children:
- Engage with children in a nurturing and supportive manner.
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and learning activities.
- Communication:
- Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on their child's progress and well-being.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure effective communication within the childcare facility.
- Health and Safety:
- Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper sanitation and hygiene practices.
- Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and administer basic first aid if necessary.
- Learning Support:
- Assess the developmental needs of children.
- Provide additional support to children with special needs or learning challenges.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of each child's progress, behavior, and any notable incidents.
- Complete required documentation for regulatory compliance.
- Professional Development:
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a positive and cohesive work environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
