We have a great opportunity for an Account Manager for our Rental Sales Division. The Account Manager will work out of their home office located in the Denver, Colorado Area and travel within their territory. This position offers base salary + commission.
Summary
Custom Truck One Source has an opportunity for a Sales professional with a background in aerial vehicles, equipment and heavy & light duty trucks. The Account Manager will be responsible for targeting new prospects, conducting needs analysis, quoting, closing, delivery of trucks and equipment, and continuing relations with existing clients as well as establishing new relationships. A major aspect of this role will be increasing rental sales and accomplishing the sales goals set for them by management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Marketing analysis and segmentation to define key prospects, prospecting, cold calling, identifying customer needs, quoting, closing new business, and service existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
Recommends changes in products by evaluating results & competitive developments.
Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales in CRM.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
High school diploma; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Must have previous 3+ years minimum of rental outside sales experience in vocational equipment and or truck sales
Professional and Technical knowledge of aerial vehicles, equipment and heavy & light duty trucks
Can demonstrate a track record of sales achievement and new business development in vocational vehicle sales and/or leasing
Must have proficient computer skills and have the ability to learn new programs quickly. Must be able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); Experience using CRM systems preferred
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Valid Driver’s License required
Detail oriented and accurate
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment; Meet deadlines and schedules
Must be able to take initiative, be self-sufficient and driven and work independently
Ability to work with mathematical concepts. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
Understand written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents
Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
Monitor/Assess performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action

Working Conditions
Work will be performed in home office, on the road at various locations and customer sites, and at times in the branch location and headquarters.
Ability to travel 50% – 75%.
