Gurwin Jewish Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Director of Sales in Commack, New York

Gurwin Healthcare System is a full continuum of care providing extraordinary care and caring to the people that we serve. Set on a 34-acre campus in Commack, NY, the Gurwin Healthcare System includes the 460-bed Gurwin Jewish Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, providing short-term rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing care, memory care, respiratory and ventilator care, social and medical adult day programs and on-site dialysis. Sharing the campus is Gurwin’s Assisted Living community (Gurwin Jewish Fay J. Lindner Residences), our independent living community (Fountaingate Gardens) and our Certified Home Health and Licensed Home Care Agencies. Our off-site continuum includes the Island Nursing and Rehab Center which is a 120-bed facility located in Holtsville, NY.

We are currently seeking a Sales Director who will be r esponsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve company revenue goals initially at Fountaingate Gardens and Fay J. Lindner Residences. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, analyzing market trends, building key relationships, and overseeing the sales process from lead generation to closing.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets.

Lead and mentor the sales team to ensure high performance and productivity.

Analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key referral partners.

Monitor sales metrics and Key Performance Indicator’s to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Collaborate with Corporate Communications/Marketing teams to develop effective sales strategies and campaigns.

Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management.

Stay updated with industry developments and competitive landscape.

Conduct regular sales meetings/training to motivate and support the sales team.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize sales processes and performance.

Efficiently utilize the Customer Relation Manager (CRM) system in use while appropriately tracking measurable metrics and initiatives and adjusting strategy or approach accordingly for success. Review the current CRM process as it pertains to timely and proper follow-up.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree preferred along with ten (10) years of sales experience in a related field along with five (5) years of managing a sales team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving sales growth. Ability to understand and follow instructions while demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population. Must be experienced in industry standards, computer, and software/CRM programs.

This position does require in-office five (5) days per week. Also requires the ability to periodically attend weeknight or weekend events and serve in the role of Administrator on Duty (AOD) as needed.
