Job Purpose: Supports operations by preparing and cleaning work sites; maintaining supplies and materials; performing steps in work processes; maintaining records. Duties: * ROLL OUT AND ROLL UP: Organizes daily work needs by checking with supervisor regarding work schedule. Prepares work site by obtaining, delivering, and rolling out equipment, tools, supplies, and materials for the crew then Roll up and reorganize materials onsite, tools, and equipment at the end of each day. * CONSTRUCTION HOUSEKEEPING: Maintains clean and safe work site throughout each day by whatever means appropriate to the task such as: prevent trip hazards, keep hoses and cords out of walk paths, removing scrap; sweeping and mopping; erecting barriers; disposing of hazardous materials; know and implement safety rules and procedures; wearing personal protective equipment. * Maintains work supplies and materials; locating and verifying items in inventory; loading items on trucks; moving items to and from project site; unloading items. Ensure deliveries match order and report any discrepancies or damaged materials to supervisor and on delivery tag. Organizing materials in a neat orderly fashion with proper storage implemented * Supports work processes by inspecting, preparing, sorting, weighing, measuring, cutting, adding, trimming, and loading materials as directed by experienced craftsmen and supervisors on site. * Maintains work records by entering production statistics, and materials and supplies used; * Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. * Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Skills/Qualifications: Great attitude, Early rising self starters are a plus, Desire to expand your knowledge in residential home building and remodeling, Lifting, Planning, Critical Thinking, Inventory Management, Inventory Control, General Math Skills, Equipment Maintenance, Power Tools, Welding and Fabrication, Concrete forming, pumping, and placing, Informing Others, Organizing tool trailer, jobsite, and shop, Construction Housekeeping - a clean well organized jobsite is a safer more efficient jobsite. Reliable transportation a must - We work at multiple locations mostly out of town and our shop is located an hour from actual Colville in Boundary, WA. Clean driving record required to drive company vehicles and equipment. We are seeking solid permanent crew members who want to learn from one of the best craftsmen alive and grow in the construction industry. We expect all workers to have tool bags with basic hand tools such as a speed square, tape measure, framing hammer, chalk line.
