Our Opening and Your Responsibilities In this role, you'll be responsible for managing all aspects of human resources for our corporate operations and office functions. You'll assume responsibility for the effective performance of: talent acquisition and onboarding processes, talent and succession planning, employee retention and engagement, and employee learning and development. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with professional, legal, and governmental regulations in regards to workforce management.. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Understand and respond to short- and long-term business needs in part by developing strong partnerships with business leaders / key employees. Instill a talent development mindset and coach leaders on how to assess and develop talent with aspiration to grow further in the organization with the ultimate goal to contribute to a strong succession pipeline. Collaborates with the centralized recruiting team and Center of Expertise (CoE) to support Hiring Managers build the employer brand of METTLER TOLEDO and attract and secure a qualified and productive workforce. Owns the employee pulse survey process and leads the unit's efforts in employee engagement. Works closely with centralized payroll and benefits teams. Coach all leaders in active performance / situation management through both the performance evaluation process as well as daily activities / opportunities. Support the onboarding and orientation of new employees to prepare them properly, convey company culture, and foster employee engagement. Lead and support execution of key annual HR processes such as performance evaluations, compensation reviews, and bonus determination, payments, and financial accrual processes. Manage communication processes and related employee programs to foster employee engagement and a positive work culture. Take a personal lead in critical initiatives, human resources matters and investigations, as needed Take a personal lead in critical initiatives, human resources matters and investigations, as needed. Drive improvements through open feedback and assurance of full integrity in all situations. Motivate and engage department members to ensure productivity and efficiency Contribute ideas and solutions on HR processes and closely collaborate with internal HR stakeholders including HRBPs, HR Service Delivery and CoEs to enhance the employee experience Support the compliance team to complete all required government forms and manage any government audits or complaints. Partner with the training group to provide applicable training to unit employees Manage relationships with other MT units as well as with outside companies. What You Need to Succeed Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a closely related field Five or more years of progressive experience in human resources and leadership positions Experience in a corporate office environment where HR is considered as a business enabling function with the ability to work cross functionally and in a global matrixed organization Experience in working with various HR functions such as Talent Acquisition, Training, Total Rewards and Payroll, and HR Service Deliver Centers Strong interest and an understanding of HR technology and collaboration-based technology tools Strong communication, collaboration and planning skills, relationship development and attention to detail. Creative problem-solving and organizational skills is a must.
