Senior Consulting Sales Representative - Communications Applications Global Business Unit (CAGBU)

Overview:

The Senior Consulting Sales Representative will sell consulting services supporting OSS / BSS Billing, Order to Cash, and Cloud Monetization solutions in North America. This role requires a sales professional with the ability to develop strong internal relationships, as well as network and develop strong business relationships with customers. In addition, will generate leads and submit proposals to clients applying a broad knowledge of Oracle service offerings. The ideal candidate will be able to build successful go to market sales strategies, be knowledgeable of pitching end to end solution selling, and close complex deals. They will also be viewed as a trusted advisor and have experience working in multifaceted work environments.

Accountabilities:

  • Selling consulting and/or outsourcing services

  • Interfacing, and partnering closely with experienced architects and delivery professionals

  • Generating leads and closing deals

  • Growing Sales Pipeline and hunting for new opportunities

  • Calling on all levels, including C, VP, D, & M Level executives

  • Offering Oracle consulting services and solutions

  • Develops new accounts and expands existing accounts within an established geographic territory, industry, product segment, or channel

Required Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in selling enterprise software services

  • Experience selling consulting and/or managed services solutions

  • Should have experience as a hunter searching for new opportunities - growing the consulting sales pipeline is a must

  • Knowledge of Billing, Order to Cash, and Cloud Monetization

  • Telecommunications Business and Operations Support Systems (BSS / OSS) is preferred

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline and/or equivalent professional work experience.

  • Advanced degree preferred

Responsibilities

Responsible for selling the Oracle consulting services. Develops new accounts and/or expands existing accounts within an established geographic territory, industry, product segment, or channel.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

Canada: Hiring Range from $117,600 to $218,000 CAD per annum

US: Hiring Range: from $126,000 to $207,400 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 50/50 - 60/40.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.

This job requires proficiency in the English language.
