Responsibilities Prepares patients and all related documentation for fluoroscopy and imaging procedures, transporting patients to and from the ED/UC areas Process RIS orders as requested by radiographer Maintains stock of imaging supplies and cleanliness within each procedure room Responsible for performing technical tasks and direct patient care under the supervision of a radiographer; performs a variety of non-technical tasks and indirect patient care activities Maintains knowledge of current applications in Radiology and complies with regulatory guidelines and policies Maintains a variety of section and department functions. Qualifications KNOWLEDGE , SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Current student in an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, preferred. Experience: 1-year clinical experience preferred Skills: High level of communication and organizational skills. High level of professionalism and ability to establish good rapport with patients and staff. Certifications: Current CPR certification, required. MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position requires constant talking, hearing, standing, stooping, lifting, hand dexterity, bending, walking, and seeing to effectively perform varied General Radiography procedures (100%) Must be able to see, hear, stand, walk, speak, read, and perform manual tasks with or without accommodation, and care for oneself with little or no difficulty. Must be able to independently lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to move or reposition patients of any weight or size with the assistance of another person(s) and/or equipment.
