Robert Half QA Testing Analyst: IV (Lead) in Columbus, Ohio

Description We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst based in Columbus, Ohio. This role will be responsible for planning, integration, test casing, scripting, and execution of all testing to ensure proper coverage. The successful candidate will collaborate with Business System Analysts (BSA) and development teams, and work on multiple projects/systems of moderate to high complexity. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the planning, integration, test casing, scripting, and execution of all testing to ensure proper coverage.

• Schedule and lead test deliverables review sessions as needed.

• Collaborate with the BSA and Development teams in the analysis and review of business objectives and requirements to ensure requirements are testable.

• Actively participate in the review of architectural and technical design specifications.

• Develop, document, and maintain the test data, data validation, and end-to-end testing flows.

• Conduct testing using manual and/or automated test processes and report results.

• Work with BSAs and Development teams on defect analysis and triage.

• Assign defect severity and manage defects throughout the project.

• Work with colleagues and project managers to meet established target dates and completion of activities/deliverables under changing conditions.

• Create test status reports, test results, and test summary deliverables to ensure production implementation readiness.

• Collaborate with the Project Test Lead on estimating the test efforts.

• Support the project's warranty period as needed.

• Provide mentorship to junior team members as needed.

• Understand and follow the project lifecycle methodology consistently. Requirements • Demonstrated expertise in Quality Assurance, including planning, reviewing and supervising quality processes.

• Proficient in workstation support and production implementation.

• Skilled in automation, integration and change management.

• Experience in defect management and understanding of various methodologies.

• Ability to manage deliverables and perform regression analysis.

• Familiarity with release process and creation of effective test cases.

• Ability to act as a subject matter expert to meet business objectives.

• Experience in triage, UAT, and collaboration with development teams.

• Proficient in producing clear and concise status reports.

• Experience in creating and managing test scripts and test data.
